Marseille: Palais Longchamp

One of the most beautiful places in Marseille - Palais Longchamp, located in a crappy district, but is overwhelmed with magnificence of the palace.

Natural park of Camargue

This week-end I had a trip to Camargue that is famous for its natural wild life. Wild flamingos, bulls and horses live there. Nice week-end, night at the Marseille with lots of music (Fête de la Musique) and an opening of the swimming season :)

Firefox 3.0

Who knows... gal čia kokia klaida visgi :) Ar negi mes tokie užketėję fanai?!

Marseille: Vieux Port

I was walking just like this tourist on the picture above, with the map and huge camera in my hands. I saw the old port mostly through my camera, thus I share it with the rest of the world :) In the morning there is a small market with lost of smelly fish and various souvenirs. During evening people come simply to enjoy the view, or have a dinner, or have a party with friends :) Very big and enjoyable place in Marseille.

Marseille: one side of its face

This week-end I spent in Marseille. It is the second-largest city of France with a population about 1,5 million people. I was very surprised when I saw the city as its shown in following pictures. I would say its only one side of Marseille, however, not the best. I started my exploration from the very beautiful train station and went to the heart of the city - old port.

Fuel strike!

Truck drivers demonstration on Monday from 6:00 AM:
- semi-block of access to Nice airport
- slow movement on A8 motorway

C'est la vie en France :)

I start to think that this may be the reason why I was late to get to Nice airport by bus last time when was going to Lithuania. I got stuck on the motorway in a huge jam and as a result I had to pay for the car parking at the airport. Merde!

A visit to Lithuania

Visiting Lithuania in June is really impressive :) And it always was like that during the warm period of the year. However, coming back to Cote d'Azur is not a less pleasant thing to do :)

Having only a few spare minutes lets me to post only the views from Vilnius and its suburbs that I saw through the camera and not only. The only place that is missing is Trakai. Don't know how it happened that no appropriate pictures were taken. I think the food and drinks have filled my arms :))

By the way, at last I have declared my income taxes for the French government. It took me *only* 3,5 hours. And the rest of the free time after my return to France I was preparing for meeting the guests from Lithuania, which means probably a few (or even no) posts for some time. So, enjoy Lithuania ;)

Very popular person currently in Lithuania (on the left). I had a chance to visit him at the very first day of his debut :) I knew nothing when I came there (shame on me), but I liked it a lot. I wish a good luck to Irmantas Jablonskas!
