Trip to BEAWorld (Barcelona, Spain), part 1

The trip starter during the last Saturday in September, just two days after a daily heavy rain appeared in a warm place like Cote d'Azud. That led to nasty weather for several days, however in Barcelona was sunny and warm - one more reason to go there :) So, me and my co-worker Adomas stated the journey from Grasse, France to Barcelona, Spain. We were supposed to arrive to Barcelona on the Monday evening. We rented a car, here is it:

It was unbelievably comfortable to travel with Pegeut 307. So, the first city to visit was Avignon, which is situated not far from Marseille.

There we took a nice walk to the old town through some interesting streets :)

We were heading right to the palace where Popes have lived several centuries ago. It is located near gardens, small parks, squares, churches and other cultural places.

Small pool with golden fish.

Small garden.

Here is the Palais des Papes where Pope lived.

The square near the palace, behind - Notre Dame des Doms.

Avignon is situated on the bank of Rhone.

Old town streets in Avignon.

An alive wall - with the real plants growing :)

After taking a walk in Avignon, we decided to visit Arles - old city with Roman and Greek motives like amphitheatre and etc.

Enterence to Arles old town.

Arles Roman arena.

Garden in the old town of Arles.

Amphitheatre in Arles. Still alive, people come to sing here.

To be continued...
